Retimet Metal Foam

Retimet is a special Nickel metal foam material developed and manufactured by Dunlop Equipment, a member of the Meggitt group of companies. The material is versatile in shape and form and has extraordinary properties which make it suitable for applications which involve harsh environments.

Retimet is manufactured in a specialized plant in Coventry UK from where it is distributed to a global market as raw material or finished components and products.

Retimet is used extensively by many leading aero-engine manufacturers where it’s prime uses are as centrifugal air/oil separator for cleaning up engine emissions, pneumatic filters and sound absorbers.

Retimet has also proved itself in applications such as petroleum pipeline flame arrestors, noise attenuators, flame proof panels for enclosures including jet engine combustion chamber liners and as catalytic supports.
